Wild In Our Ways

      This past week we have been doing a lot of soul searching and trying to figure out what the best plan would be for our future. We were so optimistic about our house selling, and it has turned out to be a pretty slow process. Big surprise, huh? We had so much activity the first week with showings and an offer (that thankfully did not go through... buyers were a little sketchy) that we were really thinking we might be done with it by now. I look online everyday at houses in Birmingham, and we've had a strong favorite since we started looking back in November. I found out that it finally sold yesterday. I had dreams about that house. I knew exactly how I wanted to decorate it. Maybe it's a sign that we're supposed to stay here in Huntsville for a little while longer.

      I'm finally on my weekend shift at UAB, so it's already much easier commuting back and forth. Last week I did a five day stretch that was r.o.u.g.h. I knew being away from Jonathan would be hard, but I had no idea it would be like this! I'm so looking forward to the day when we are in the right place for us, wherever that may be.

    

The Start of Something

My name is Mary. I'm married to a man that I absolutely adore. I love baking, reading, road trips, lusting after beautiful clothing, and learning to be crafty. We're planning on moving from Huntsville, AL to Birmingham to further our careers and education; so, I want to use this blog as a tool for storing memories, keeping up with new and old friends, and updating friends and family on our progress. I've never been great at keeping up with journals or blogging of any sort, so we'll see how it goes!
